Helping young people in Applemore gain skills for life through adventure, teamwork and fun. From Beavers to Explorers â there's a place for everyone.
Whatever your age, there's a Scout section waiting for you. Each section offers age-appropriate activities, badges and adventures.
The youngest section, introducing children to Scouting through fun activities, games and outdoor adventures. Beavers learn to try new things and make friends.
Cubs take on bigger adventures â camping, hiking, and learning practical skills. They work towards badges and start to develop independence and leadership.
Scouts develop leadership, teamwork and outdoor survival skills. From expeditions to community projects, they take on real challenges and grow in confidence.
Explorers plan their own programme, take on Duke of Edinburgh awards, and develop the skills to become young leaders. Adventure at the next level.
The 14th Applemore Scout Group has been part of our community for over 50 years, giving young people the opportunity to develop confidence, character and skills that last a lifetime.
Through outdoor adventures, community service and teamwork, our members grow into resilient, capable and caring individuals â all while having an enormous amount of fun.
